Educational Qualifications: B.E / B. Tech Mechanical Engg from reputed University / Institute Minimum 60 % marks
Should have been consistent & secured good percentage throughout academics (SSC, HSC, Diploma, Graduation etc)
Work Exp. : 4-8 Yrs.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Role:
- Handle design of two wheeler exterior/plastics/Trims which includes the following stages
- Sound knowledge of Body Parts/Exterior/Panels and trim design.
- Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience of UG-NX/CATIA ,Team center or equivalent
- Ability to do multitasking: Testing co-ordination, Benchmarking, Dealing with suppliers
- Knowledge on different types of materials, manufacturing processes used in Plastic design
- Application of GD&T, DFMEA, DFM etc
Technical/ Functional:
- Proficient in Plastic/Trim Part design of various parts such as fender, fairing assembly, seats etc.
- Understanding of Virtual simulation for part design and takeaways from it.
- Good understanding & awareness of new technologies in vehicle interior design
- Basic knowledge of vehicle layout design, ergonomics and homologation requirements
- Good communication skill
Competency Requirements:
Specific expertise required for functional area
- Unigraphics (CRITICAL)
- Teamcenter Engineering or PLM system
- Exposure to design standards
- Exposure to relevant regulations (Current, Future)
