Location – Mohali, Chandigarh
Qualification – B Tech (Mech/Automobile) / MTech (Mech/Automobile/M/c Design)
Experience – 3+ Years
Job Responsibilities :
- Design of engine components and sub assemblies in NX environment and management of part design in PLM software
- Design of engine parts for new concepts, product development, improvements and Cost reduction
- Engineering releases for new / changed parts and management of Add-Del
- Field Issue resolutions
- Development of DVP, DFX, DFMEA and SOPs etc.
- Execution of engine/component benchmarking, engine assy support to plants during trials
- Analysis of parts from engine endurance and field testing

Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job
- Sound understanding of Engine Components & their functions, engineering materials and metallurgy basics
- Sound working experience on NX (preferred) / ProE and PLM software (Teamcenter preferred)
- Sound understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up’
- Good understanding of Manufacturing processes related to engine components
- Good Analytical and problem solving ability
