Experience – 10+ Yrs.
Specialized knowledge /education: Bachelor of Engineering
Area / Main subject: Mechanical Engineering with experience in WH product and its processes.
- Experience in RFQ handling, Prepare BOM, Estimate process, invest &
- validation cost for Automotive wire harness products.
- Prepare assembly Process flow
- Experienced in Team center
Work experience: RFQ Handling- Prepare BOM, Process, invest, Validation cost 8-9 Years,
- Team Center Min. 2 Years
Objective / Role
- Handle new RFQs from customer. Maintain records, access customer portals.
- Study drawings, specifications received in RFQ from customer & Prepare Technical feasibility study.
- Prepare detailed BOM, identify process steps and machines/equipment required to manufacture the wire harness. Identify if any validation requirements stated by customer.
- Estimate detailed process cost and investment cost. Estimate validation costs.
- Communicate with customer to get technical clarity & missing details like drawings, components, specifications etc.
- Support technical sales.
- Set up Product BOM, drawings, specificatios and all related technical data in Team Center.
- Initiate engineering change requests (ECR). Execute ECR in co-ordination with CFT, maintain records.
- Track & maintain records of Project progress. Ensure to meet customer milestones.
- Interact with global team to understand and adopt technologies.
- Handover the determined process flow, equipment list to NPD team.
- Support department initiatives by working with other engineers to solve problems in the department and fulfill initiative requests from Engineering Management.
- Understand, support, and contribute to IATF16949 & ISO 14001 Systems by following approved policies and procedures.
- Must possess ability to build peer relationships as well as work independently.
