Mgr (MIS) – Infrastructure Specialist – Auto OEM

One of our prestigious clients “Auto OEM” is looking for “Mgr (MIS) – Infrastructure Specialist”
The ‘Infrastructure Specialist’ is expected to work along with the to focus on maximizing the effectiveness of system availability, ease of end user system use, with an intent for minimal manual intervention / steps. He would need to work with operational teams, workgroups and communities to ensure that the digital processes, applications and services they use regularly are optimal.
This person does so by:
·         Developing resiliency on systems which have single points of failure.
·         Developing digital mechanisms of notification and alerting for proactive action and safeguarding committed SLAs.
·         Develop techniques to automate processes which are manual for easing user and system actions, like email creation / deletion, asset management (IMAC), conference room booking etc.
·         Develop bots to ensure auto healing of systems, like failover of processes, systems and link paths.
·         Testing emerging technologies like AI Service Desk, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes etc
Location                                         : Pune

Experience                                    :

  • 5 – 7 years of work experience, preferably in business or IT management and ideally a combination of the two.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and               

enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing   

effectively across the organization and within complex  

contexts.

  • Experience in designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • Experience in working in technologies like Python, Grafana,          
  • MEAN js, Node js, Shell & Power Shell scripts and Zabbix.
  • Experience in handling Information security, IT Operations and  
  • IT Governance will be an added advantage

Job Role & Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the delivery of MIS business facing services to meet the required levels of quality.
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of new and revised digital systems and processes.
  • Ensuring execution of assigned activities in the IT Infrastructure service delivery processes within the company.
  • Leading to resolve major incident & critical situations, providing input and expertise to solutions for any incident, change or project minimising impact on infrastructure services.
  • Ensuring continuous service improvement of the IT Infrastructure Services, including performance management and operational demand.
  • Driving a standardized way of working i.e. for capturing operational demand for discussing and reporting performance.
  • Leading the execution of Service delivery by internal IT delivery and IT operations team members, as well as external third-party IT service suppliers.
  • Involvement in Strategic Projects

  • This position performs advanced professional and complex technical work in the development, implementation and maintenance of a Server, Cloud & LAN-WAN Infra.
  • Ability to implement, administers, and troubleshoots server & network infrastructure devices, including multi-vendor wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, LB and controllers.
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams, documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
  • Create data flow diagrams and documentation with periodic  review.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Implemented & worked on various network monitoring tools like Manged Engine Op Manager, Site24x7 & SolarWinds , BMC Suite etc.
  • Automate processes and system resilience through Python, Grafana, MEAN js, Node js, Shell & Power Shell scripts and Zabbix.
  • Working experience on IPS/IDS, Site-to-Site VPN, P2P, ILL, MPLS, Multicast, BGP, OSPF, L2VPN, L3VPN, VLAN, STP, LAG, DHCP, DNS and switching technologies
  • Responsible for acting as liaison between network users, staff, management, and vendors
  • Recommend & Implement best practices for network & cyber security to protect the system from cyber-attacks, hacking attacks, intrusion & infiltration
  • Working experience of AD, DHCP/DNS, Azure AD, 0365, AV, NAS and filers
  • Handle all third-party providers & AMCs of all hardware & software equipment.

Other Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report compliance with established SLAs
  • Develop and maintain ITSM Service KPI within Service Desk software automation mechanisms
  • Improve usage of Service Desk resources and increase productivity of the team
  • Manage all Internal Compliance and Software Audits
