Order Processing Specialist

One of our prestigious clients “Equipment manufacturing” is looking for Candidate in Order Processing Specialist”

Primary Location     : Pune/ Chennai/ Bangalore etc but working under US East time zone (9 hrs. gap)

Experience                 : Order Processing Knowledge (5-7 years Exp) Minimum of 1-2 Years Customer Service And Or Office Environment.

Qualification              : Engineer/Commerce Graduate.

 Language spoken      : Excellent English communication.

Summary Description:

  • Focus on order check in & order entry of consumable items. Requires knowledge of Oracle/Epicor/SAP Business system, also requires Salesforce.com. This position requires the ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and initiative. Also work with Customers by utilizing their portals, acknowledge, request change orders, and gather past business data to support their requests.

Exemplary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Order check in utilizing Salesforce.com – 45% of your time
  • Order entry using Oracle, soon to be Epicor. Works within Customers Computer Portals to retrieve new orders and acknowledges each. 45% of your time
  • Receives overflow calls from the answering service. Is responsible for screening calls and referring inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Greets and screens visitors. Is responsible for ensuring that visitors are properly admitted into the facility.
  • Processing Incoming and Outgoing Mail
  • Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Participate in efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Work using the mindset of 80/20 (80% of outcome, comes from 20% of causes)

Employment Standards:

Knowledge:

  • Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation; modern office methods. Fundamental record keeping principles and procedures. Good communication and typing skills. Knowledge of general computer programs, Microsoft Products, Outlook and Oracle/Epicor/SAP Business system, and CRM a plus.

Skill: Ability:

  • To read, analyze and interpret documents, write business correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from other groups. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as UOM conversions, and Metric Conversions. Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Oracle/Epicor/SAP Business system. Excellent Organizational, time management and communication skills. Positive attitude and ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player. Attention to detail and ability to focus in an active work environment.

Physical/Environmental Demands:

  • Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature and some manual dexterity, minimal lifting.
