Position: Global Sourcing
Work Experience: BE Mechanical with 4-7 Yrs experience in Global sourcing..
Job Purpose / Role:
- Person will be responsible for end-to-end development; ZBC; vendor development, Capacity planning, Coordination with international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential global vendors to manufacture products according to the requirements of the product development team.
- Negotiate with vendors on prices, quality, delivery timelines, and payment terms to ensure the best outcomes for the company.
- Oversee quality control and assurance, implementing robust systems to maintain high product standards.
- Formulate sourcing strategies to minimize risks related to vendor concentration and geopolitical issues.
- Manage foreign exchange risk, including determining appropriate exchange rates and engaging in futures contracts as necessary.
Preference: –
- Strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of global trade agreements, tariffs, freights, and government schemes.
- Experience managing foreign exchange risk and familiarity with international trade finance instruments.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in developing new tools and systems for effective sourcing management.
- Strong knowledge of International incoterms, Custom duty, Antidumping duty, delivery terms etc.
- Should have experience of business travel to China, Taiwan, South Korea etc
- Should have knowledge of electronics parts and components
