Position: Specialist– Application Research
Role responsibilities
- Performance Testing and Application Benchmarking for Kitchen appliance lab on Various category of product
Current Projects: Mixer grinders, Hand blender, Nutri blender, slow juicer
Future projects: Cooktop, Chimneys, Air fryer.
- Understand the logic behind Existing Internal protocols (Standard operating Procedure’s) completely and help in conveying the same to Executers and Helpers in Lab
- Creating New Protocols for future product after conducting internal and external research, Trials/experiments in Lab.
- Strong Documentation – Observations during testing, Images, videos, Reports and clear communication with the designers.
- Data Representing – Representing results, drawing conclusion, recommending the way forward with a proper logic
- Handling Logistics for Lab for ingredients, appliances and equipment (Inventory management, Procurement, Bills maintenance, daily tracking etc.)
- Able to handle Instruments like power meter, noise meter etc. which are related to Appliance testing.
- Understanding how these parameters relate to the Performance of a product
- Creating test plan/ experimentations based on Project priority/Visits/ resource availability and communicating the same to executor in lab – Being very agile on the same
- Maintaining the test samples, benchmarking samples and preserving for future reference.
- Handling the tracker for all the above activities.
- Supporting other team’s experiments in Kitchen Lab by aligning the time, requirement, availability.
- Strong application of 5s and other lean tools in lab and could be able to keep on improving the same
- Additional responsibility – SPOC for all amazon orders for Kitchen appliances team
