Job Title – Software Integration Eng.
Location: – Pune
Educational Qualification – BE/ BTech/ ME/ Mtech/ MSc in Computer Science/ Electronics (& Telecommunication)/ Instrumentation & Control
Experience – 5 Years to 7 Years
Technical/ Functional
- Familiarity with microcontroller based development using compilers/ debuggers etc.
- Good understanding of embedded C with experience in low level driver development using C.
- Exposure to CAN based networks.
- Understanding of RTOS concepts.
- Understanding of Software Development life cycle.
Preferred add-ons:
- Exposure to Autos AR based design philosophy.
- Experience in Functional testing on hardware.
- Familiarity with any scripting language python/Perl/ C#.
- Understanding of how ECU software participates to ensure overall vehicle operation.
- Understanding of control strategies for electrical machines.
- Understanding of control strategies for battery management
The selected candidate shall work closely with the hardware development team to configure BAL proprietary RTOS on a given ECU based on application need. While doing so there may be special modules that need to be developer specific to the project requirements./ The selected candidate shall work on developing these modules in such a way as to be re-usable in multiple projects. He/ she may need to develop the overall architecture of the application basis requirements. This would involve decomposing the functional requirement into implementation blocks, defining interfaces for each block, and analytically deriving priorityof execution for each block. Subsequent to this, the function development, i.e implementation of each block, may be handled by a separate function development team who needs to be supported by the selected candidate. Therefore He/ she shall support basic validation before handover to function development group. During function development, the selected candidate shall provide support for architecture and debug of vehicle level issues. He/she may be required to develop setup for virtual ECU to aid root cause analysis of vehicle issues. The selected candidate shall also be responsible for approving production release ECU based on inputs from test & validation group and FMEA. Therefore he/ she needs to collaborate closesly with functiona development, software verification, and release engineers.
