Vacancy for Senior Support QC & QA
Join us as a Senior Support QC & QA based in Pune to Manage and assist in driving Total Quality Management (TQM) in the Parts supply chain by focusing on customer demands/expectations, total product quality, implementing and improving the concept of Right First Time (RFT) & Right from me (RFM).
As ALPS Driver actively support and challenge the roll-out of ALPS Installation together with the UM and management team, nurturing an environment that enables the DC to follow the four priorities: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
- Collect and compile statistical quality data ·
- Lead and facilitate the claim investigation with the line organization
- Document corrective actions in ACT and gain TM/UM signoff ·
- Secure control actions together with TM/UM ·
- Co-ordinate with Sales team for execution of Navy Orders and support document preparation.
- Responsible for Pre-Inspection of Navy Orders.
- Raising inspection call to QAE for physical inspection of Navy Orders.
- Completion of Navy orders inspection within the estimated timeline.
- To proactively identify improvement opportunities prioritized by ALPS priorities ·
- To drive and actively participate in both product and process-related quality projects in site and local organizations supporting both office and warehouse. ·
- Support line organization and sourcing with process and supplier quality audits ·
- Conduct and challenge SOP audits. Evaluate audit findings and implement corrective actions
- Supporting line organization in using ALPS toolbox ·
- Driving local ALPS activities
- Responsible for Managing HSE activities in DC.
- Supplier performance improvements.
- Long-term continuous improvement of the PDL performance.
- Delivering the expected results of the assigned projects/activities
- Providing the Quality Manager with material for best practice sharing
- Responsible for quality management and Function.
Who you are?
As a person who Continuous Improvement Driver has a cross-functional responsibility to analyze, drive the Problem Resolution Process and implement and secure corrective actions for deviations and Continuous Improvements.
What you can be?
- Bachelor of Mechanical engineering with 5–6 years’ experience in relevant industries In QC and QA
- Experience to work with a cross-functional team in Co-ordination with the Sales team to execution of Navy Orders / third-party Inspection and support document preparation
- Good knowledge abot ISO /OSHAS process
- Good experience on Claim Handling process and Quality improvement projects.
- Knowledge about Quality documents and processes.
- Good facilitation and proven problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills,
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language,
- Ability to coach and train groups and individuals
- Demonstrates organizational & time management skills.
- Preferred to have Application based knowledge (ERP systems, Microsoft office, etc.
