Location: Akurdi – R&D
Summary of the Role :
- Design, development and validation of HV&LV wiring harness for electrical system in EV
- Candidate with strong domain knowledge in above mentioned aggregate is preferred
- Experience in vehicle/system and components level digital and physical validation methods
- Experience in vehicle aggregate development process and knowledge of overall vehicle Product development process
- Experience of working with OEM or TIER-1 will be preferred
Job Specifications:
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- Work Experience: 3 to 5 years
- Preferred Industry: Automobile, Electric vehicle HV&LV Wiring harness
- Preferred Design Software: 2D-3D design likes CATIA V5 & Unigraphics electrical routing, Capital H and AutoCAD etc.
Details of the Job :
- Responsible for Design, Development and validation of following EV aggregates:
- Electrical system architecture & connections diagram for EV
- Load calculations of E&E components of EV
- HV&LV wiring harness 2D & 3D drawing preparation of EV
- This role demands interface with EV system components design teams, HV&LV Harness suppliers,
Testing and validation teams
- Responsible for EV system HV&LV wiring harness component sizing/selection and vehicle level design optimization
- Benchmarking of competitor products and making plan for technology roadmap/technology trend
- Design Validation Plan and awareness of relevant EV components standards and procedures
- Good knowledge of drafting electrical schematics diagrams & routing of 3D layouts for HV&LV wiring harness in EV
- Awareness of End of Line Test qualifying parameters
- Good understanding about the statutory and regulatory requirements of EV and their standards
- Awareness of product development cycle, gate review system and project management.
- Good Knowledge in NPD, DVP/R, FMEA,DFM/DFA, DFS, SOR
- Knowledge on thermal & environmental behaviour of components used in harness
- Awareness of different HV&LV Cables, Conduit, connectors & terminals
- Hands on experience in EV Wiring Harness systems
