Job description :
- Plant Quality head.
- Developing and implementing Quality standards.
- Ensure Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, TQM practices.
- Product Quality Assurance.
- Ensure availability of standard reference documents like SOP, procedures, guidelines, training modules, quality assurance plans for use.
- Collaborating with operations team to develop and implement Quality control and improvement.
- Quality assurance of In house product manufacturing – Fit up, welding, CNC machining, NDT, testing, painting.
- Maintain In process Quality assurance thoroughly at each stage to eliminate errors and produce defect free products.
- Ensuring suppliers and vendors quality.
- Manage QA/QC with cross functional teams both internal and external.
- Incoming materials quality assurance like raw materials – steel plates and bars, casting, forgings, equipment manufacturing at vendor end, consumables, fasteners etc.
- Plan and coordinate Internal/External quality audit for evaluating performance of QMS.
- Ensure all corrective actions are taken based on Nonconformities.
- Respond and close customer complaints and monitor effectiveness.
- Stakeholders, coordinate production quality activities, ensure adherence to timelines and quality.
- Reviewing codes, specifications and processes to produce defect free products.
- Responsible for all technical aspects of Quality assurance functions and ensure all QA systems.
- Responsible for all qualification activities and validation activities.
- Manage the quality team and function, professional growth of team members.
