Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and 3D modelling.
- Proven expertise in Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks including advanced features and functionalities.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including materials, statics, and kinematics.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in the Pulp & Paper, Material Handling, Balers, Cement industry is a plus.

Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with a focus on creating detailed and accurate 3D models using Autodesk Inventor.
Responsibilities:
CAD Modelling and Design
- Utilize Autodesk Inventor/ SolidWorks to create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies based on project requirements.
- Apply parametric Modelling techniques to ensure designs are easily modifiable and adaptable to changes.
- Creating Configurations and Design Table in case of SolidWorks and iPart and iAssembly in case of Inventor.
- Creating Weldment components in case of Solidworks and Frame Generator in case of Inventor.
- Incorporate geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to accurately define part geometry, tolerances, and functional requirements.
Manufacturing Process Integration:
- Utilize knowledge of machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication processes to optimize designs for efficient manufacturing.
Detailing and Documentation:
- Generate detailed engineering drawings, including machining symbols, welding symbols, and GD&T callouts, using Autodesk Inventor.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulations, including ANSI, ISO, and ASME standards.
- Create bill of materials (BOM) and manufacturing documentation to support procurement and production activities.
Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication:
- Develop flat patterns and unfold views for sheet metal parts, considering material properties and manufacturing constraints.
Welding:
- Incorporate welding symbols into engineering drawings to specify weld types, dimensions, and locations.
Quality Assurance and Inspection:
- Participate in design reviews and verification activities to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct tolerance analysis and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with GD&T specifications.
- Address non-conformances and implement corrective actions to resolve design or manufacturing issues.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay updated with advancements in CAD technology, manufacturing processes, and industry best practices.
