One of our prestigious client “Consumer Durable” is looking for “Lead Design Validation Engineer”

Experience – 5+ Yrs.
Role responsibilities
- Design Validation and Reliability Testing of different products In-house & at external Lab using equipment like Environmental Chambers, EMI/EMC, Electro Dynamic shakers, Salt spray chamber, RPS, DSO, Electronic Load, HIL, SIL Etc
- Understanding of DUT specification/architecture and test requirements from concerned departments to perform test effectively.
- Performing, leading, and planning Reliability testing like Environmental testing, HALT, HASS, Vehicle level measurements.
- Responsible Design for reliability of the product throughout the life cycle.
- Reliability prediction based on different environmental loads applied to the system & subsystem
- Development of reliability/validation test plans representing the expected use cases, environmental loads, and operating conditions after understanding the requirements while adhering to timelines and cost constraints
- Risk Assessment by Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis & identification of Design Controls, Coordination with Cross Functional Team.
- Warranty Analysis through Life Estimation, Warranty Prediction, Exploratory Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Simulation of Failure and Verification of Corrective Action.
- Collaborate with R&D engineers in development of test requirements specifications (TRS) with strong emphasis on standardization across multiple product lines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should have 5+ Years of experience in the Design Validation, Reliability and Durability Testing in the Automotive/EV domain
- Hands-on Experience with Design Validation, Reliability/Durability Testing related activities on Motor/ Motor Controller or other EV product Line
- Knowledge in test software, product software, LabVIEW, Bus master, CANeo, PCAN
- Knowledge in Reliability software like Weibull++, Minitab
- Proficient with the knowledge of product durability & product life cycle, reliability modelling, reliability growth, reliability block diagram (RBD).
- Knowledge in Environmental & Reliability/Durability testing of automotive components.
- Experience with Test Equipment such as: Power supplies, DAQ, digital multi meters, oscilloscopes, communication analysers, spectrum analyser, power meter, electronic loads, Hi-pot tester, etc
- Experience with high voltage testing safety practice
- Knowledge in communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, RS485.
- Eager to work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
