Educational Background: Threshold educational qualifications required to execute the role
- Tech / B.E in ECE / ICE / E&E / Mechatronics
Relevant Experience: Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role
- 2 to 9 years of experience in testing and validating EVs and its components.

Job Purpose Statement
The EV component test engineer would be responsible for the following activities –
- Testing and validating functional requirements of EVs.
- Defining test requirements for EV drivetrain components
Key Accountabilities:
- To validate EV drivetrain components as per the Gates & SOPs on QCT Target.
- Capable of managing lab activities
Applied Activities:
- Define DVP plans for EV component testing
- Planning and executing tasks related to project.
- Plan and execute testing activities as per the DVPV test plans
- Experience of integration testing at system level and functional testing at vehicle level
- Preparing and maintaining Quality records, for system audit and documentation i.e. test procedures, work instructions, quality assurance specifications, etc.
- To maintain maximum utilization and efficiency of the test instruments in the lab
- Experience of requirement based testing / design verification / validation
- Manage test instruments, calibrations, quality checks at regular intervals
