Engineer (L3) for Corporate Quality Assurance – Auto OEM

One of our prestigious clients “Auto OEM” is looking for  “Engineer (L3) for Corporate Quality Assurance.”

Job role:  Quality Assurance

Relevant Experience:  5 years minimum, Age below 45 years.

Educational Qualifications: B.E/B. Tech – Electrical / Electronics

Job Responsibilities

  • Electrical & Electronics component ownership for customer complaints & new products.
  • Root cause analysis, finding best solution & monitoring the progress.
  • Warranty receipts monitoring through inspection, Vendor teams.
  • New products – FMEA Review for identifying potential complaints & CTQ parameters.
  • New products – Study of complex issues at pre-pilot, pilot stage.
  • Interaction with Design, Manufacturing, Service & Vendor teams for customer complaints & new products.
  • Documentation & updates in management review forums.
  • Quality System Audits at supplier end, manufacturing plants.
  • Competencies

Technical/ Functional

  • Competent in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.
  • Knowledge & Experience of problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards, regulations, and best engineering practices.
  • Thorough knowledge in electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.
  • Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application
  • Experience in quality systems of electronic components for automotive application –CDI, ECU, voltage Regulator, sensors, fuel pumps.
  • Knowledge of inspection & Testing of Electrical/ Electronic components.
  • Bench marking with similar parts, VA/VE
  • Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA
  • Knowledge of TPM, ISO Standards.

Soft Skill set:

Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Team enter.

  • Effective communication with team, peers, and seniors
  • Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with deliveries on schedule.
  • Good Interdepartmental co-ordination required.
