One of our prestigious clients “Auto OEM” is looking for “Engineer and Sr. Engineer Brake”, Jaipur.
Academic Qualification – B.Tech (4-9 Yrs), M.Tech (2-6 Yrs)
Companies preferred: 2 W, 4 W, Bus/Trucks, Brakes/Suspension companies,
Technical Competencies:
- Vehicle level experience and knowledge of brake system interfaces & their impact on packaging of brake components and performance of vehicle.
- Sound experience in design (3d modelling and drawing) and process of hydraulic and drum brake components (sheet metal brackets, casted panels, forged pedals etc.), brake hose routing, forged and casting components preferably in CATIA V5.
- Reasonable understanding of vehicle dynamics and system design calculations for brake specification finalization.
- Good experience in brake system failure modes analysis, DFMEA preparation and resolutions of in-house and market issues with 8D analysis.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and validation of brake system and components.
- Good experience and knowledge of GD&T and stack up analysis of interface chassis components and assemblies.
- Knowledge and understanding of global and IS standards of vehicle and component level technical performance and durability requirements.
- Good understanding of brake system and components level benchmarking requirements and VA_VE idea generation concepts.
- Fasteners selection and understanding of torque-force design equations.
- Making ECN, DCR using ERP software (PLM-Team centre, SAP)
