Educational Background: Threshold educational qualifications required to execute the role
- Tech in Electronics. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.
Relevant Experience: Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role EMC Testing at ESA and Vehicle Level
- 2-6 Years worked in relevant Software Simulation and Troubleshooting is optional
Location: Jaipur
Job Purpose Statement
- To independently study the functionality of the system/ component and define EMC Test Specifications of the component and Test Menu details.
- To independently conduct testing for components and vehicles for EMC area
- Analyse the problems observed in the testing and resolve the problems with help of Supplier and Designer interactions.
- Understand and perform the periodic maintenance and calibration of the EMC Chamber and other related instruments.
Key Accountabilities:
EMC Test Menu and Specification Finalisation:
- Study the Sub System and System Level Schematics and understand the EMC Scenario arising at System Level
- Work Jointly with Designer to understand the Component Functionality and then support to define the EMC Specification for the component
- Develop the various test Cases of the component and make required Test Menu and Test Modes for EMC Testing of the components
EMC Testing:
- Develop the required test set up for testing the components / system as per the defined Test Menu and Test Cases
- Perform the EMC Testing of the components (ESA Level) / Sub System Level and capture the required values / parameters to judge the results of the test as per the defined acceptance criteria of the test.
- Perform Vehicle Level Test for various EMC Test Modes and define the vulnerability of the vehicles based on the test results
- Preparation of TA Vehicle based on the internal testing results and support for EMC TA of the vehicle with Testing Agency with the support of Regulation Team.
Analysis of Test Results, Report Preparation and Support for resolutions of failures in test:
- Capture the test results analyse them and compile the results in Reports & Release the test reports to meet the timelines of the Tests as per Model Schedule
- Perform the various test cases to correlate the failures, analyse them and support the design team to take countermeasure to meet the required EMC Specification. Proposing countermeasure is added advantage
Lab Maintenance, Calibration and NABL Documentation Support:
- Define the periodicity of lab maintenance schedule, calibration requirements of the equipment’s and perform them as per required periodicity
- Understand the requirement of NABL Lab Accredition, maintain the required documentation and records and support for NABL Activities of the lab
