Job Description :

  • Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite’s InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Adobe XD, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of UX design processes, Usability best practices, Usability Principles, UI patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of Design Systems, importance & implementation protocols.
  • Ability to story tell around the experiences you create
  • Ability to clearly articulate a problem space and design solutions that meet users needs and business goals
  • Ability to accurately set, manage, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to quickly incorporate feedback into designs
  • Ability to collaborate with developers to ensure quality and consistency after design hand-off, visual effects and animation to create artwork for tech devices, live-video, and the web.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centred design solutions.
  • Understanding of Automotive HMI Development process High level knowledge of automotive design guidelines to create driver friendly distraction-free interfaces.

The role involves :

  • Brainstorming creative ideas with teams, developing visual concepts and collaborating with IT developers to successfully integrate their graphic designs.
  • Oversee, lead, and collaborate on the design of digital assets and templates, from initial conception through to delivery, maintaining a consistent look and feel
  • Create user personas, user flows, and wireframes to illustrate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Design and create user interfaces for Rider/Driver Cockpit (Instrument Cluster systems), ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interactions.
  • Develop wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interaction flows.
  • Apply human-centred design principles to create visually appealing and engaging HMI designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, requirement engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and user needs.
  • Create and maintain design guidelines, standards, and style guides for consistent user interface designs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and address any technical limitations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in HMI design and human factors engineering.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback into the design process.
  • Active participation in UX strategy development along with team members, creating efficient product design roadmaps
  • High Level HMI Project Management to ensure meeting of project deadlines
  • Aptitude for providing design feedback and a genuine desire to help less experienced designers improve their skill sets
