Design Manager – FBD – Manufacturing in Rubber

One of our prestigious client “Manufacturing in Rubber” is looking for Candidate in “Design Manager – FBD”

Location                     : Chakan, Pune.

Experience                 : 8 -10 Yrs.

Qualification              : BE Mechanical

Summary Of the Role :

Product design & development for all prgrams w.r.t. Specification, Received CAD inputs, Samples & Customer inputs w.r.t. Customer timeline.

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1.  RFQ Level:

• Study & guiding team for Drawings, Standards and DVP
• Communication with internal CFT as well as Customer
• Tech review preparation, review and discussion with Customer

2. Project Development & Launching Level:

• Study & guiding team for drawings, Standards & DVP
• Design feasibility and approval from Customer
• DFMEA review & guidance to team
• DVP finalization for sign off with Customer
• Design kick off with Design reviews – 2D/3D CAD preparation, review with CFT and release to respective agencies
• Co-ordinate with CFT for BOP’s, Part design w.r.t. queries resolution
• Attending part trials – internal/external, fitment trials and corrective action,Root cause analysis and customer communications
• ECN management
• Attending testing’s – internal/external, co-ordination with respective agencies
• Audit – Internal/External : Preparation and participation
• Visiting customers/suppliers as applicable for technical reviews, trials, analysis

Functional  Requirements :

 CATIA software hands on – Must

1. Background of FBD product – Required
2. Automotive + Rubber background – Must
3. Understanding of DVP (Design Verification Plan) is required

Skills & Knowledge Required :

1. Communication proficiency
2. Ability to handle Customer (Internal / External) & multiple tasks
3. Understanding of product validation standards is required
