One of our prestigious clients “Tractor Industry” is looking for a “Deputy Manager‐ L7O (Operator Controls) “ for “Chandigarh”
Location – Mohali, Chandigarh
Experience – 3-5 Years
Job Responsibilities :
- Good hands‐on experience of design tools like NX, Creo, Team center etc. to produce quality drawings & 3‐D assembly layouts.
- Designing of various Controls & Linkages related to transmission systems/subsystems like gear Shifting, Clutch, Brake, throttle linkages, PTO controls etc.
- Calculation of kinematics of various linkages, their effort optimization & packaging with Spring design considerations.
- Experience on Ergonomics to decide placement of various Controls w.r.t driver seat.
- Co‐ordination with CAE for design optimization.
- Designing of fabricated, forging, casting & plastic parts with knowledge of material selection.
- Co‐ordination with internal aggregates like Testing, Proto building, Sourcing, ME & Assembly to validate &implement the design changes.
- Analysis of field problems and deploy suitable engineering solutions to resolve field complaints.
- Benchmarking of competitor models & VAVE initiatives.
Job Requirements
- 3‐5 Years of experience in design of various Controls & Linkages related components using CAD software’s (NX,Creo) & Team center
- Experience in Controls & Linkages related calculations and GD & T.
- Experience in tractor industry preferable.
Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job
- Good hands‐on experience of design tools like NX, Team center etc. to produce quality drawings & 3‐D assembly layouts.
- Material selection of components related to Controls & Linkages.
- Problem solving (7QC Tools).
Good presentation skills, well conversed with MS office applications - 2D/ 3D Modeling in NX 10, Team center 11
- DFEMA, DVP Co‐ relation & efficacy of DFMEA’s
- Knowledge of Controls & Linkages system & components
- Knowledge of design related standards, GD & T and tolerance stacking.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes of fabrication, casting, forging & Plastic related components.
