Job Purpose –
- Charging station engineer contributing to the Fast charger development with responsibility for hardware definition, optimisation and validation.
- In-depth knowledge of grid connected public charger’s hardware development and manufacturing lifecycle.
- A qualified electrical engineer with sound knowledge of overall technical aspects for charging station readiness.
- Interface between internal and external touch points for CFT (R&D, SS&SC, project team and vendor ) to deliver product
Job Role —
- Work on design and prototype of the charging station. Design review for power components selection, functional & thermal management performance requirement.
- Propose cost-effective solutions for the charging infra platforms ensuring compliance to design/process checklists for HW.
- Provide design and quality guidelines for prototypes and industrialization. Review schematics, layouts, WCA, DFMEA and all process-related milestones for quality assurance.
- Plans, calculates, designs, develops, tests and modifies experimental or operational electrical concepts/subsystem.
- Key role in development and certification process of charging station .
- Ensure that designs and architecture to meet domestic and global market charging standard requirements.
- Evaluating the installation, configuration, and operation of individual components and integrated systems.
- Calculates and creates final layout including documentation and specification for parts, assemblies or final product.
- Create and execute DVP plan for charger together with testing team.
- Support in definition of required tools and testing infrastructure.
- Define/improve specification standards for HMCL chargers.
- Troubleshoot and fix failures from testing activities.
- Implement lessons learnt into designs.
- Carry out benchmarking on competitor components.
- Define required modularity/scalability concepts to achieve flexibility in fast charger developments.
- Analyses existing development procedures and suggest improvements.
