Location : Pune (Akurdi)
Educational Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Post-graduation in Materials Management desirable.
Experience : 2-5 Yrs.
Preferred Exposure: Component development, Vendor Development, Purchase, SCM.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Role: Development of Components for New Projects through Vendors.
- Responsibilities: Development of Proprietary Vehicle components for Motorcycle & CV Projects as per Project timelines. (Components like Locks , CNG / LPG systems, Brakes, Fork & Shock Absorbers, springs , cables) End to End responsibility for Quality, Cost, Delivery of the Component.
Competency Requirements:
- Technical/ Functional: Knowledge of manufacturing processes – Casting, machining, Rubber molding & Assembly / Testing. Zero based costing of components.
- Supply Chain Management and Vendor Development
- Desirable: Knowledge of tools, jigs and fixture design and costing, TPM, PPAP, APQP, SAP.
