Plant Engineer ME Planning – Automotive

One of our prestigious client “Automotive” is looking for Candidate in Plant Engineer ME Planning”

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Level

Location: Pune

Experience Substantial general work experience together with comprehensive job related experience in own area of expertise to fully competent level. (Over 6 years to 10 years)

Role purpose

Manage & Plan core manufacturing engineering data related to facility & layout flows, value stream mapping, FTF management and flow simulations. Lead & implement the site budget and 5-year strategy plan under the guidance of ME Manager. Should have working knowledge of time & motion study and CAD system.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning

                Use strategic planning systems and protocols to support others.

  • Data-driven Product and Service Improvement

     Support data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for product/service   improvement.

  • Innovation Strategy, Pipeline and Roadmap

                Identify pain points, roadblocks, and pitfalls in the innovation pipeline and ways to overcome them.

  • Cost Price Calculation

                Produce accurate analyses on cost price and/or project data for others by collecting information from a variety of standard sources and inputting the data into standard formats.

  • Feasibility Studies

               Conduct feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective and document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure.

  • Improvement/Innovation

                Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems and procedures, and use established change management programs to address them

  • Data Collection and Analysis

               Collate and analyze data using pre-set tools, methods and formats. Involves working independently.

  • Stakeholder Engagement

               Assist with stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
