One of our prestigious client “Consumer Durables” is looking for “Specialist – Embedded”
Location – Pune
Experience – 5+ years of experience in development of Embedded firmware for different products.
Role responsibilities-
- Firmware development – Motor control / Digital Power
- Individual contributors having hand-on experience of closely working with hardware teams.
- Firmware Documentation – Block Diagrams, Architecture, Flow charts
- Firmware lifecycle management.
- Firmware testing using instruments and simulators
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of C programming, C compilers, Pre-processors and
- Understanding of RTOS, Security concepts and Boot loaders.
- Strong understanding and experience of a microcontroller-based development
MCU – C2000 , STM32, ARM, Renesas, PIC and AVR - Understanding of Digital power conversion techniques.
- Preferable to have Motor Drive firmware implementation – motor control
topologies like Field oriented control , six-step commutation, Close – loop Speed /
Torque control etc. - Understanding model based development would be added advantage
- Understanding of working with communication protocols like CAN , LIN SPI, I2C,
UART, RS232, RS485 - Strong understanding of the test instruments like oscilloscope, logic analyzers and good hardware debugging skills.(RCA)
- Understanding of tools like flowchart, block diagrams to represent the firmware
- Understanding of project development cycle and documentation – DFMEA, DVP
