One of our prestigious client “MNC- Trailer Manufacturer” is looking for “CAD engineer”
Experience – 5 – 7 years
Location – Pune
Role responsibilities
- CAD support for global design support locations USA, UK etc. mainly UG NX & Teamcenter (PLM), solid-works etc.
- Control of design documents such as drawings, bill of material, 3D models, DXF files etc.
- Support for new and existing product development activity
- Provide technical direction to support personnel (ME, QA, Production, Purchase)
- Support for field service if required
- Coordinate engineering activities (Engineering change notices received from customer, Print change requests to improve current drawings, etc.) as necessary with other departments
- Interacts with and facilitates communication with suppliers and customers on a regular basis
- Create and maintain part numbers & bill of materials in QAD (for production and after-market kits)
- Support for handling quality management activities (QMS) of engineering department for TS certification
- Support for design of fixtures, tools, gauges for supplier related parts and in-house parts
- Support for field failures issues using problem solving techniques such as 8D, fish-bone diagram, why-why analysis etc.
