Regional Sales Managers -Trailer – MNC- Trailer Manufacturer

One of our prestigious client “MNC- Trailer Manufacturer” is looking for “Regional Sales Managers -Trailer”.

Qualification               –        Graduate in Engineering, MBA Preferred

Experience                  –        10  years

Location                      –        North, East, West and South locations

Area of Accountability:

Responsible for developing sales and product strategy for Trailer suspension at  MNC- Trailer Manufacturer  Facility at Chakan.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop Sales and Marketing strategy to grow Trailer Suspension business India.
  • Manage/maintain multiple program sales accounts (fleets and trailer manufacturing)
  • Co-ordinate sales and manufacturing activities with Canton, Jinan and W&C
  • Analyze/report customer requirements to program team
  • Maintain revenue/sales tracking to ensure overall profitability
  • Negotiate commercial agreements
  • Track and resolve customer issues
  • Oversee and coordinate all customer requests to ensure timely response
  • Review Business Case Financials for accuracy
  • Develop commercial proposals for presentation to customer
  • Report status of commercial issues to management
  • Develop/gather details for re-billable tooling and pricing submission
  • Ensure timely receipt of production/tooling purchase orders
  • Coordinate with India Leadership, the annual development of the MNC- Trailer Manufacturer strategic plan      and planning process
  • Support through sound research opportunities to expand MNC- Trailer Manufacturer product and geographic markets
  • Develop database of information on all market segments and participants
  • Develop databases on all competitors, including manufacturing locations, capacity utilization, management, organization, financial performance, M&A activity, alliances, customer base, sales by product, country, estimated manufacturing costs, etc.
  • Develop and maintain database on all OEMs to profile all aspects pertinent to MNC- Trailer Manufacturer

Authorities:

  • Review Business Case Financials for accuracy
  • Conduct special market research projects to support strategic sales initiatives as required
  • Develop and manage a simple means to communicate market intelligence to MNC- Trailer Manufacturer leadership and the sales organization
  • Develop and utilize a network of third party client-specific market research firms to support database and market research work.

Qualifications:  Include education, experience, and skills required or preferred. Example:

  • Graduate in Engineering, MBA Preferred
  • 10+ years relevant experience in a related manufacturing business 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Analytical ability
