Sr. Purchase and Logistics Executive

One of our prestigious client “Channel Partner of MNC” is looking for “Sr. Purchase and logistics  executive  ” in Baner,Pune.

Experience – 5 – 12 Years

Location –   Baner,Pune.

Qualifications

  • BBA /MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing unit.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs clearance processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Proven experience in chemical procurement and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in relevant software and ERP systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Import and Export Billing:Manage and oversee the billing processes for all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Chemical Purchasing:Coordinate and execute purchasing of chemicals, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support production needs.
  • Documentation Management:Prepare and maintain documentation for Bills of Entry (BOE) and other necessary import/export documents, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Customer Clearance:Facilitate customs clearance processes, working closely with customs authorities and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient clearance of goods.
  • Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels, manage reorder points, and ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials and chemicals to avoid production disruptions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, evaluating performance and addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with production, finance, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis:Generate reports on purchasing activities, logistics performance, and inventory levels to provide insights for strategic decision-making
