Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in finance management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and legal requirements relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- month and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- trust account statement reconciliations,
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- debt activity
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
