Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Tele communications Engineering
Experience :
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in semiconductor procurement within the automotive or electronics industry.

- Desired knowledge in elevator and escalators industry, People Management skills, Organization and Planning skills, selling skills, Customer Relationship Management, Schindler Finance knowledge, Schindler Leadership Framework behaviours required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a semiconductor procurement strategy that supports the company’s product development and manufacturing goals.
- Identify and engage with key semiconductor suppliers, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing, and technology advancements.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to understand and anticipate semiconductor needs.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and value engineering projects without compromising quality.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to semiconductor procurement.
- Stay informed about geopolitical and economic factors that could impact semiconductor supply chains.
