Job Title – Racing Engineer
Experience (Years) – 4-6 Yrs Btech & 2-4 Yrs Mtech
Job Purpose:
- To design 1st in class Automotive racing architectures compliant with high-level standards and performance.
- Particular attention is required to the specification and implementation of modular interfaces allowing
- development advantage in terms of time and complexity
- To control the software configuration of the system.
- Develop working relationship in continuous interaction with all stakeholders.
- Cooperate to the creation of an intercultural distributed team aimed to achieve best result through
- integration of resources located in different part of the world.
- Part of the time will be required to the support in the field and support to racing team located in HTCG.
Job Role:
- Develop system architecture, to be used across family of Racing vehicles including racing kits for commercial bikes
- Connect with proper component specialists to coordinate component availabilities and interface requirements
- Locating and directing resolutions for critical issues related to hardware and software interfaces.
- Creation and maintenance of the board net document and message map
- Care of Flashing/ coding/ mapping and maintenance of proper record
- Planning, tracking and scheduling software/coding/mapping deliverables
- Trouble shooting and analysis of system level defects.
- Debug through tracking tools like Jira,code review systems such as Collaborator or Phabricator, JTAG,SWD.
- Ability to work through RCA (why why, 8D, Ishikawa etc)
- SW Testing and Validation using methods SIL, MIL, HIL and Vehicle Level.
- Proficiency in Black Box, White Box Testing.
- Prepare concise function documentation of ECU software and tests that verify and validate the functionality.
- Test case preparation and test automation approach.
- Perform software testing using CAN simulation tools.
- Connect with TCG Racing Engineers/other Auto OEM departments to maintain the correct information flow.
- Support on the field when needed
