World Leader in Refinery Software is seeking a Senior Consultant Engineer within our Global Professional Services organization based in Pune as part of the World Leader in Refinery Software operation across Asia-Pacific. Major
responsibility is to provide consulting services within the Supply Chain division focusing on refinery Planning, scheduling and offline blend optimization. The candidate will execute most of the project
Work from project start to finish. The projects will primarily be in refinery planning, scheduling and blending.
Your Impact
- Deliver consulting services including solutions design, implementation, technical delivery, training and advisory services to support World Leader in Refinery Software clients in their exploitation of World Leader in Refinery Software Petroleum SCM Suite of solutions for refineries.
- Modelling of Refinery, Olefins and Aromatics complex in Aspen Supply Chain Products like PIMS, PSCP (DPO), APS (Orion) and MBO.
- Consulting including Audit of the model.
- Updating model/version, model revamp, training and handholding users.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering is necessary with at least 5-7 years relevant experience in disciplines like Refinery Planning/Scheduling. Masters is an added advantage.
- Experience in a related service organization is an added advantage. Experience in relevant industry like Refinery, Olefins and Aromatics plants would be an advantage
- Familiarity of World Leader in Refinery Software Refinery Supply Chain Planning, Scheduling and Blending suite of Products (PIMS, APS, PSCP and MBO). Modeling experience on these products would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle will be useful.
- Programming skills in VB, VB.Net, ASP.Net, C++, C#.Net, XML / XSL will be useful
- Good written and oral communication skill in English.
- Capable of multi-tasking efficiently and effectively, and with domestic/international travel of up to 50%.
- Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies. – A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationship.
