Key Responsibilities
- Engine Production Planning based on Vehicle Production Plan
- Execution of line and stage balancing according to production volumes
- Executing & achieving the Daily & Monthly Production Plan with targeted OLE & RFT
- Plan & Implement actions for In-process and FG Inventory reduction.
- Achieving FIFO for Engine and conducting monthly PIV with zero difference of system and physical stock
- Having skill in controlling tools and consumables stock and subsequently working on cost reduction parameters
- Adherence, compliance, and continuous improvements in the Quality System
- Plan and implement Poka-yoke and Automation proposals for defect free production.
- Implementing Automation and COBOTS for improving output per man
- Knowledge of JIDOKA implementation for error proofing
- Strong commitment for Quality and Response to Quality
- Sustenance and Proactive Improvements in Safety Systems, ability for conducting HIRAC
- Continual involvement for Assembly processes improvements, Flexibility improvement on multi-model assembly lines
- Knowledge of Sub-assemblies, Joints, Torque, Stage layout, Process
- Flow Idea generation as a strong suit and implementation for Output / man improvements Knowledge of TPM,
- Ability to enhance and sustain JH activities
- Knowledge of Material Flow & Improvement, Material Handling, Layouts Product Knowledge, and Role play for New Model Introduction & associated challenges
- Achievement of PQCDSM (Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale) targets
- Efforts and focus for Continuous Improvements – Kaizens generate and implement
- Plan and implement cost reduction proposals associated to work area
- Should be able to implement Yutori ideas / concept.
- Able to derive energy conservation ideas in the work area.
- Ensure implementation of high level 5S & housekeeping standards in the shop.
Competency / Experience in the following area:
- Should have interfacing ability with QA, Production Planning and Control & Engineering (ME-new product and process improvement) function, and with Parts supplying feeders (Machined components) & vendors.
- Should have basic knowledge of Assembly Equipment’s & JH/PM of equipment’s, Assembly Tools & Tackles, Ergonomics & Motion Study
- Strong conviction for interacting, guiding, supporting, developing, and handling large group of cells members
- Should have passion and zeal for improving and taking work area to the next level.
- Should have knowledge of 100% Compliance to various ISO System Audits – QMS, SHEMS
- Should have good communication skills horizontally & vertically.
- Should be able to interact with Top Executives, Consultants – Should make and deliver Shop Floor and Conference Room Presentations
- Should have knowledge of Best Assembly Practices and to implement the same
- Should Possess good planning, coordination, and leadership skills
- Should have experience of using SAP
- Should have knowledge & expertise in using different Problem-solving techniques.
- Should have good knowledge of TPM methodology.
- Should have expertise in using MS office & should possess excellent presentation skills
